Photography Exhibit
Join us for our first juried exhibit after re-opening our doors judged by local photographer Michael Lachowski of UGA. All photography submissions accepted. This will be an adjudicated event with cash prizes award. Submit your works and entry fee of $25 for up to three entries below.

EXHIBIT RULES
for Entry
Requirements

There is a fee of $25 for three entries. Payment can be made by cash, check or online.

Minimum 18 years or older may submit works for this show.

Only original works of art not shown previously at the Arts Center of Hartwell are eligible.

These works must be photography.

All works to be hung must be professionally framed and securely wired, and, if subject to damage, must be framed under Plexiglas or glass; gallery wrapped canvas is acceptable. No clip mounting will be accepted, unless otherwise specified.

While there are no size restrictions, entries must be transportable and able to be hung in a conventionally sized gallery.
6. Submissions to the exhibit will be selected for display at the discretion of the exhibit curator, juror and/or program chair.
7. All pieces of art that are accepted must remain on display until the close of the exhibit.
8. Works on display may be sold only through The Arts Center and will be considered to be available for sale unless “Not For Sale” (NFS) is specified on the entry form. The Arts Center prefers that entries be for sale. “Price on Request” will not be accepted. 25% of the sale price will be retained as a donation to benefit the Hart Regional Arts Council, a 501©3 non-profit organization.
Entry Acceptance Deadlines & Location
Entries must be submitted by December 10th, 2024 and must be picked up, after the exhibit ends, by Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

Notification of Acceptance: December 18, 2025
Drop Off for Accepted Entries: December 27, 28, 29, 30 at 10:00am – 2:00pm
Pick-Up Entries: February 10 & 11 at 10:00am – 2:00pm

Exhibit Opening and Awards Ceremony Friday, January 3, 6:30pm
Awards Ceremony, 7:00pm

Notification:
Notification of juried results will be e-mailed by December 18, 2024. Results will also be posted on our website by December 18, 2024. No notifications will be given over the phone.

Liability
The Arts Center of Hartwell assumes responsibility for insuring and caring for the works of art selected for exhibition while they are in our possession.
However, the Arts Center of Hartwell will not assume costs of shipping artwork or insurance while in transit to or from the Arts Center of Hartwell. The Arts Center of Hartwell reserves the right to refuse any entry and to withdraw any work from the exhibition at its discretion.
The Arts Center of Hartwell reserves the right to photograph and reproduce any entry submitted for educational or publicity purposes. The receipt of an entry in the juried exhibition will constitute agreement by the artist with all conditions set forth in this prospectus.
